Did you photograph them when they were in the nest? . thanks Tom...unfortunately i didn't get them in the nest...i've not photographed many GHO nests, I had taken some photos of a couple other locations earlier in the year, and figured owls nested early in the year...this spot was next to a kestrels nest, i would see the adult every time i went out, but i wasn't positive if there were young or not...then i spotted this one about a month ago...that was the earliest i had actually seen a young here the flying that they are doing is pretty much from tree to tree...not much farther than 100 ft or so probably...this one was watching the adult hunt in a field nearby and flew to get closer to the action Andre or Dre
