I am wondering what the acceptable street value is for this lens in good condition.

Ive seen anything from 50 to 200 US dollars.

I believe mine is the best version also.

How good is the IQ of your lens? I had the 24-85mm on a 5D and it wasn't very sharp.

I see good copies selling for about $100 fairly often. For that price, it's a surprisingly decent lens. I bought mine in a bit of a hurry so I'd have an EF zoom to shoot a tournament a few years ago, and it did a pretty good job; it doesn't AF as fast as the L lenses but it's far better than some of the 3rd party zooms I compared it to.
