Really just a saturation bump but perhaps abit too much. Left my tripod at home this trip for the first time and pretty bummed about that now. Anyways, any critique and ways to improve appreciated as always.

Crazy thing is that it's actually not all that exaggerated. Awful? perhaps. Thanks for the feedback everyone.

Aug 10, 2016 11:56 | #10 Since the reflection of the colors of the sky in the wet sand is the major gist of the photo I would crop to show more sky, perhaps center the horizon right in the middle of the frame. My eye is drawn to the sky in this photo, but there isn't enough of it to look at. Normally for landscapes I would use the rule of 3rds for the horizon, but since the reflection of colors seems to me to be the point of the photo I would balance out the reflection by showing more sky. More info | Aug 18, 2016 18:11 | #11 I agree with others about leaving the original image up, as reading this thread after you had edited made very little sense. What I find difficult about the crop is that because of the angles involved, the blue in the visible part of the sky is quite cyan, while the reflection is much bluer. I would consider either cropping out most or even all of the sky, or applying a hue shift to the cyan channel, to see if you can bring the two colours closer together. I would be bringing the cyan towards the blue, rather than the blue to the cyan.
