Okay so I'm not sure if this fits in this forum, but you guys were so helpful with my backdrop mounting question I thought I'd give ya a holla!

I need to build/buy a makeup lighting thing to put in my studio... anybody run across a "how-to" on this?

depends on your makeup artist. Most of them work better in traditional 3200-3800 K lights. Some of the more advanced MUA will be able to work in the 5200-5500k lighting.

You need a mirror and lamps. I'd use low wattage lamps around 40 watts. Probably maximum of 60 watt. Color temperature wouldn't really matter I'd imagine.

Then you drill holes in the frame... attach edison holders to them and connect them. Parallel or series.

If it's too complicated - buy one.

They will need to be connected in Parallel. (series will reduce the power to each lamp)
