I'm not a wildlife photographer, but recently learned the error in my ways as I was lead around the Sand Wash Basin in Colorado the home to 650 wild mustangs. Subsequently, I also took a trip to the Shackleford Banks home to another 115 of them. Since I'm new at the game, I figured I'd find a public thread dedicated to post up my meager examples and see what others have done, but was surprised that I couldn't find a thread dedicated to these great animals. So, find your favorites and let's see what you've got! Here's a couple of mine to get you started:

I think you'll need to specify that these are for wild horses. There are a number of horse threads under pets, but wild horses would not really fit into that category.

Canon 7D, 5D, 35L, 50 f/1.4, 85 f/1.8, 135L, 200L, 10-22, 17-55, 70-300, 100-400L, 500D, 580EX(2).
Sigma 150 macro, 1.4X, 2X, Quantaray 2X, Kenko closeup tubes, Yongnuo YN685(3), Yongnuo YN-622C-TX. Lots of studio stuff.

Nice shots, but as Bob_r mentioned, if you want people to see your horse photos, post them in the "Show me your horses" thread in the pets section. Even if they are wild, that is a very popular thread that has withstood the test of time. I think the original post was from 2006!

Spoiler alert, there is no such thing as a wild horse in the United States, they are all feral.
