Been in Jerusalem for the last 2 and a half weeks and have been loving it..

shooting with the 6D and a 16-35 / 70-200 (with 1.4 and 2x) as my main kit,
as well as a Nikon FM and a Hasseblad 500 for getting my jollies with film.
Just a few days left here but here's two out of the myriad of Jerusalem / Israel shots I've collected.

From the Mount of Olives at Dusk:

Somewhere in the Old City...one of those times where I got intentionally lost.

Canon 6D w/MagicLantern, 16-35 f/2.8LII, 100mm f/2.8L, 70-200 f/2.8LII, 300mm f/4L, and a lot of luck

I'd be scared to death walking around just about anywhere in that part of the world these days. Especially carrying a lot of hardware.

Although I would love to see it.

honestly...it's not really that scary.

I shot a little at the Syrian border today which feels a lot more dicey than Jerusalem.
Jerusalem is loaded with people who make money off of foreigners and tourists, so they all kind of have a
vested interest in keeping us alive! That and there's guns everywhere so everyone is pretty well behaved.

Seriously, visit Jerusalem. You won't regret it for a moment.
