I was given today by my grandfather what appears to be a rolleicord 1a model 3.
Looks like it belonged to my late grandmother's uncle....

I'm attaching a screen shot of the model on this site:
http://www.rolleiclub.com …tlr/info/rolleicord.shtml (external link)

It also had film in it! on #12 so the last one... but unfortunately my mom opened it so who knows, but I finished winding it and extracted it. I might be able to salvage the first photos.

A few questions:
1. where can I send it to be developed?
I do not know any local labs or camera stores any more.

2. where can I buy more film for it?
(sorry dont know too much about film It uses Kodacolor c22 color negative 120 film)

I tested it and it does work. (I was told to point it at bright light after removing the film and if I saw a flash when I moved the shutter it worked, and there was def a white flash)

So... I'd love to see what's on it, I'd love to test it out with more film!
Also is there a good service place for old cameras that can clean it. I am a little afraid to mess too much. It looks in "OK" condition.

What kind of film was in it?

Also what kind of film would you like to use? If you're interested in playing with classic black and white film then it is extremely easy to get into developing at home, and fairly inexpensive to get the gear you need. Colour really isn't that much harder, but there are a few more gotchas.

Personally I'm developing my film at home with simple daylight tanks (I have tanks that can hold 1 reel for 120 film, and another for 2 reels, and each reel can hold two rolls of film.) and am currently scanning for the time being and building up a stock pile of negatives to eventually get into a darkroom for prints at some point in the future.

I really love BW pictures, and so I went ahead and bought some Ilford film. If the camera works ok after I send off my first trial or 2, I think I might like to experiment with getting into developing it. It would be fun
It had kodacolor 120 film in it.

120 roll of film goes from one spool to another. Paper backing prevent it from to be exposed once the roll is finished. At your situation it looks like it was finished.
If not already, read manual for how to use the camera. It is very important.
