#1, tight, wonderful! The 400mm f/2.8L IS USM does the trick. Xochi2

Very nice! Absolutely cherish #6. I might (I'd have to try/see it first), consider cropping L side, up to the bokehed HC on player's helmet, to bring absolute emphasis on the coach's great expression. Viewer still knows that coach is talking to player. Really exceptional work here! Xochi2

Consider cropping R side up to defender's L foot. Level your horizon clockwise. Knee surgery? Have you had it already? Best of luck to you with that! I'm sure the UIL will miss you dearly. Dec 14, 2016 20:27 | #97 There you go Pat! I like that a bit more. Now w/regard to which of the two crops, I know that the 2nd photo allows for more room for the runner, but I actually like the 1st better. It's tighter. Nice. Xochi2

It is an issue of which I am particularly cognizant. I have to give credit to Scott Evans ("Namasste") who, many years ago addressed the issue while reviewing one of my posts. I can never thank him enough for that integral input. At times, I may miss leveling a horizon, but I do believe that it is a significant factor with regard to certain captures. And yes, sometimes it drives me a bit crazy attempting to do so. (That is, level a horizon, using vertical guides, when the vertical guides are contradictory to each other.) In fact, while I'm at it, shout outs go to many on the CF for their critiques and positive advice and/or solutions. A very special gratitude goes to Phil "Zivnuska" who's invaluable recommendations have been stellar! Xochi2

My eyes are immediately drawn to it - sometimes it looks like the player is running up hill. Gear
