So recently while on an Alaskan cruise, I started taking a lot of bracketed exposures and after talking with someone on the ship, I downloaded Photomatix and started playing. Easy to get carried away, but helped me learn with my basic LR sliders as well. After I finished all those pictures, I decided to go back and revisit some old shots. These are all from a 2008 Panama Cruise taken with a 40D.

This one really benefited from Dehaze. This is a pretty striking difference.

And one more. This one I did photomatix tonemapping on. Think I overcooked it, but I like it. It's pretty cool to go back to old shots and see what you can do with them with new tools and experience.

Definitely something that I should try more often. Thanks!
