What older more affordable cameras are capable of this??

Preferably canon

IIRC, regular motion pictures are shot at 24 fps. Are you seeking a high-speed camera for a special application, or ?

I'm mainly here for the snacks

Just want higher resolution video at low speeds. I am looking into replacing my camera so I am considering everything that I would want and checking which camera suits me the best.

My Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 does 60fps at 1920x1080 very nicely. Check out the reviews and maybe it will suit you - it's a fine all-round camera IMHO.

I think I have narrowed it down to either a 7D mark II or 80D.

Not sure if 7D mark II has auto focus video(would like that feature just in case). Can someone confirm
