Can someone tell me if there are any rules against posting my Kickstarter campaign? I have the book I have been working on for 6 years ready to print and I launched today.

I think it would need to go in the Classifieds. You could hit the "report" option on the left-hand margin to direct this to the attention of one of the mods for a faster response.

There are rules here against "spamming". Put a link to your book in you Signature, then post and interact in our forum stuff, just don't spend time promoting your "stuff"!!!

You do realize that not all kickstarter projects are looking for free handouts. They often operate as pre-sales of the widgets to be produced for a project that otherwise would never get off the ground for lack of capital.

I might have laughed it off too, but for the number of independent recording artists I've supported with pre-orders of their new records. I was giving the benefit of the doubt until I learned otherwise.

Chauncey is working hard on plans for a unique, creative, inspirational and highly productive old age, but he will need considerable support to realize his dreams. Nevertheless, all humanity will profit.
