Got my a7r2 this evening so not a lot of light to play in. So I’ve been learning settings and testing out my lenses, all Canon EF mount lenses. I updated the firmware on the used metabones iv adapter I bought and then found out I needed to turn on phase detection focus. Wow! It made such a difference. It also seems that the newest firmware update for the metabones iv makes eye focus available for the canon lenses. I’m hoping to get out tomorrow morning for some live shots! Excited to see what I can do with my new toy!
Here’s a quick shot in my kitchen using my canon mount Tamron 70-200 28 @ 134mm, f2.8, iso1600, 1/50 sec, handheld, just kitchen light.
