Aug 20, 2016 18:41 | #3 that 24-105 can be a real winner for canon with that price tag. It's about as heavy as the 24-70ii though. Sony A7siii/A7iv/ZV-1 - FE 24/1.4 - SY 24/2.8 - FE 35/2.8 - FE 50/1.8 - FE 85/1.8 - F 600/5.6 - CZ 100-300 - Tamron 17-28/2.8 - 28-75/2.8 - 28-200 RXD

I want a lens with weather-sealing for my 7D. And I love constant aperture lenses. I love my Sigma 17-50mm, but it's not weather-sealed, and I rarely use the 17mm end of it. I'm going to get a FF body somewhat soon and I don't currently have any normal zoom lenses that would work with it. Gear: https://photography-on-the.net …showthread.php?p=18556308

Not to mention I was pretty disgusted with the Canon version I tried before the S. And the Sigma is still less expensive. Just saying. My junk

Yeah the Sigma version looks great. I really wish it had weather sealing. I want just one lens with weather sealing and I'll be happy. It seems the only affordable options for weather sealing are the 24-105mm f4 and the 17-40mm f4; neither of which being optically great.
