Great shot. Recommendation : crop it down. The wasted space at the top is a distraction.

I have to disagree. I like the fact that there is space at the top, and I took the shot specifically for the space, I felt it lent well to the story of the cheetah looking out at his kingdom.

I agree with the cropping, the negative space at the top doesn't lend to the title of the image, at least not for me. A landscape oriented crop might lend more that way. It's not that it's not a good shot, just that the cropping does not evoke the feeling i was expecting while reading the title of the thread. Still an excellent photo though.

I understand your intention, but I agree with the others. A bit of cropping wouldn't hurt.

I like the space at the top, but feel it could use some more on the bottom to anchor it- but still a lovely shot

I really prefer the second shot, gives a sense of the vastness around while anchoring the subject IMHO.
That last one is also beautiful with the dramatic backlighting though, would be a real tossup for me.
