Someone needs lenses, as in spectacles.

Have you followed the reviews of a couple of their DSLR lens based items. They are quite favorable.

I had a look at the article and followed a thread and found this.....!!!

http://www.globalsources.com …1130695483.htm#1130695483 (external link)

.Unbelievable....How the hell can they clone a 5d3 ???? They even quote Digic processor ....I thought I had seen it all but this takes the cake on Chinese copying...

Im almost tempted to buy one just to see if it works hahah

BTW.....I bought a Yongnuo 580 Speedlight clone after my canon original speedlight went on the blink and the Yongnuo flash is great. Can hardly tell the difference between clone and the original and its about a 1/4 of the price!!....So if they do a good lens like the article mentions then Im all for it. Although making a quality optical lens would be a lot harder to do than some of their other clones ....But they might have just got that right also going by some reviewers... Cant wait for them to do a 500mm f4!...Probably sell for a couple of grand tops.... Way to go!! :)

Did you see this item? I am not super thrilled with my Kenko 2x (1.4x is great), so this interests me.

As to the part of the article about copied cameras, I think there is quite a bit of ignorance on the writer's part. I am very sure those cameras are the actual Canon product, just grey market items. You have to dig through some of the fluff in that article.

Yes....but I saw it too late infact shortly after I bought my original.....BTW...A mate of mine had a Kenko 2x extender as well and he was that disappointed with t it that he bit the bullet and went and bought the Nikon 2x extender to replace the Kenko with He recons there is a huge difference with the Nikon 2x with the Nikon being far superior. I suppose this is one of the few situations where the extra cost does infact bring with it increased image quality.

Re Canon 5d3/70d.... ..I was thinking exactly the same when looking at the Camera especially as it looked as though all that was missing was the actual Canon brand across the top. Surely Canon wouldnt be that crazy to do a grey unbranded 5d3 /70d and distribute and market it in direct competition to their branded camera range????....That would be marketing suicide Im sure ....not to mention a whole lot of angry retailers of their OEM range

I am sure the images are photoshopped.

My yongnuo flash setup is wonderful. I've never had any problems with them. One of them even got hit by a skateboard and it's still going strong. Although lenses are a lot more difficult to perfect so I don't see them introducing a really quality lens anytime soon.
