Ordered the YONGNUO 1.4x III teleconverter

I just watched a Rudy Winston video on the 5D4. In it he said you needed the version III TCs to allow f8 focusing on all the points. I am curious to hear once the 5D4s start shipping if the Yongnou allow the f8 focusing

nope... it's in the chip of the TC oh AND select lenses only. 100-400 original is not one... but the version II is.

Right but will the chip in the yonguo 1.4 III work with the 5D4?

doubtful. the kenko killed alot of focus points from certain lenses while the 1.4xIII kept them.
