Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows of anywhere to find a replacement lens foot for my lens, either canon or a third party. Any suggestions welcome. Thank you

Sorry but what do you mean by "Lens Door"?

I used to have the original EF version of this lens but am not familiar with the "Door". Are you thinking of the filter holder? If so then they use the older 48mm filter holders - E Bay might be a good source.

Is this the what you are after?

Very sorry, "lens door" was a typo. I meant lens foot, that attaches to tripod collar.

going from the parts manual the part number I think you need is CA2-5939-001
did a quick search but couldn't see anything though...

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

This might be worth a look:

I would E Mail Jobu, Wimberley, Kirk and RRS with your exact lens details (there have been 4 incarnations of the Canon EF 400 F2.8), I am sure one of them will be able to help.
