Is it normal or is it just my "set" button that's not quite horizontal?

Well, it "used to" rotate and spin around.

But yeah.. that would bother me, even when it's just a slight cosmetic thing assuming it's functioning properly.

Duel pixel raw is pointless! just tried it. waste of a feature so far!

Can you elaborate? What lens/focal length and details on how you tested it?

Even that Rudy dude from canon was very clear that the dual pixel raw was for super small adjustments.

I am guessing that it will be a stepping stone for better things. Nikon or someone will probably run with it and make it more practical LOL

So, its not quite horizontal on everyones, or few?

It functions properly, but if mine is the only one that intrigues me.

lol, Prompted me to check my 5D3, it does the exact same thing, I never noticed. :)

On 5D2 the "SET" button has no white lettering, and it rotates completely around with the dial. Same on 1D4 :) :)

Agreed, it is the first step on this new feature. But small adjustment may be enough for some and I understand it depends on the focal length of the shot, longer the focal length larger the adjustment. Hence my questions.

I have had several portrait shots where the eyes were not in focus, slightly out, and this feature might have saved my day.

There's the answer! Scratch off the white lettering, problem solved! :p

Mine appears normal... For now.

FWIW, my 1DX2 wiggles a little when I spin the thumb wheel. Its tilt is not as notable as yours, but it does wiggle nonetheless.

BTW, thanks a lot, now I feel like the camera is crap. :-P:lol: :p
