Goddamn I am dreaming about this camera, if only for the fact that FTP transfer over wi-fi would allow me to print wirelessly without a computer. Lots of business ideas with this.

Talley lve been reading this thread and all I read is men waiting for the truck to arrive and terrified missing it or putting it of for a day,now I'm feeling sad for you all, have you not got a wife or girlfriend at home I've had mine for 45 years and it took a lot of training but now I can leave home in the knowledge that she will open the door and get a package and would not dare miss it I don't know what the world is coming to :p

This made me laugh as in our house its ME not the hubby with camera gear issues. For years my husband has just got sick of me googling the latest camera or lens and talking about, if I should get it or not. Its got to the stage where he just says, "please just buy it Im sick of hearing about it" he has his own hobby's that he lusts over as well. That said as he has a camera himself he has a number of times opened my latest package and check it out if it came while I was at work which I found annoying. These days money is a bit tighter so I just look at the cameras online and dont buy :-( just need a lotto win now. But anyway its not just men who are into cameras, its just that you guys as in real life talk too much :-)

My husband has no idea how to use any of our remotes. He can turn the t.v. on and that's about it. Oh, and change the channels. I am the techie person in our house, and I'm a middle-aged, short Asian Grandma. :)

Life is good.

I walk around at events with 2 DSLR's, one with a 24-70 (just got the II version last week) and one with a 70-200 2.8 IS II. My gear is better than the stuff any high school photography club has and I laugh at the shooters at the local high school football games. I don't buy the 1D series just because my hands are too small. I tried a grip on the 20D, it didn't work, so I've avoided grips.

The 5DIV is a camera I've been waiting for. I skipped the 5DIII because I love my II and don't need to upgrade so often. But I did buy the 7D2 in the meantime. My son just started shooting videos for school and for youtube. He will inherit my 5D2 and old 24-70. He will be very happy coming from the SL1, but he will need the STM lenses sometimes.

I need to ask, I don't do much video, is there anyone else like me who does not care too much about the video, but the better still images are very exciting?

I've had my 5D3 for a year now and have not done one video on it. I had a T4i and 6D before that and I possibly shot videos with those a couple of times at best.

So can you guys confirm exposure compensation in Manual when using auto ISO?

I just realized my M3 has it too so it shows every camera will probably have it from now on.

I'd say all bodies have it going forward which is a good thing. Maybe with the ISO limitations of old bodies it wasn't seen as being useful but now even crop bodies can make it work.
