I would think if there was an improvement in iso performance, canon would be touting about it, I haven't heard anything mentioned about it.

I think the video looks horrific compared to the Sony a6300. Yes YouTube compresses it but it looks really bad to me.

Most people that do this for a living will now need to make a decision.....2 5D4's or a single 1Dx2 body...The 1Dx2 is going to be cheaper by $1000.00

Please explain this to me. This makes no sense to me at all!!

Well, now I have a real decision to make now that it has been released.

Over here in Sunny Australia I can Pre-Order it for 5000.00 AUD. (Jeez we get bent over in Aus) That's a lot of beans.

The 5DSR is exactly the same price.

Dunno what to do now. I was sort of expecting to come in at 4000. Oh well... it is what it is.

Based on the 5DSR pricing the last year or so it will stay firm at 5 grand.

Not sure what to do. Get the 5DSR and use my 7D2 as a companion, or get the 5dIV which I suspect is the better choice as an all rounder.

Hmmmmmmmmmm

Wow its pre-order at £3,600 :(
Makes the Nikon D810 look pretty reasonable at £2,300 ... Or if locked into Canon lenses, the 5DSR looks nicely priced at £2,900! Especially As I discovered by accident that my 5DSR does have constant auto AF in video mode ... And it works reasonably well
Unless you need 4K Video, makes my 5DSR purchase still look a good way to go. But then sports/action is not my genre.

Honestly to me it looks like a £3,200 camera .... But guess it will fall pretty quickly.

I wonder what a 1 DX will level at once these start to ship. ? Could be an attractive option?
