Last night I set the min to 250 and the max to 2000. I stuck the camera in manual mode... flipped the lock lever only to lock the back wheel... this allowed me to lock in 2.8. kept the camera in auto ISO and let the af selector button in the back be my EC method and then all that was left was to flip the top dial quickly left or right to go from 250 to 2000 depending on the action needed. It allowed me from not having to worry about going too high or too low. I knew if I wanted to be at 250 just flip it and it would stop there since I set it. Ahhh. Read it again and now I get it. I never though of using the min/max that way. Another trick to add to the bag. Very cool. Thanks!!!! Sometimes not taking a photograph can be as problematic as taking one. - Alex Webb

That happened with the swively-flippy screen, too. I was an early adopter of the 60D, and almost all opinions were certain that the little flippy screen was going to break off at any minute. Now people are disappointed if a new Canon body doesn't have one.

If it ain't broke, spend the money on something that is...  No one's making you touch it. All the physical controls are still there.
