I use the wifi often during games. I turn on wifi, then my samsung is set up to connect to it whenever it sees it, the canon app automatically resyncs itself with the camera and I browse pics that I have taken during the game. I download the good ones and email them over to the social media table. The lady there would periodically walk around and take shots for facebook, etc, but I injected myself into that process, and she is happy I am saving her alot of time each home game now.

One more value add I give that organization so that I can raise my demands for next season.

Who have you folks been buying your bodies from? Is it safe to buy on CanonPriceWatch and save $300, or should I play it safe and stick with B&H?
Thanks!

You aren't really buying from CPW, they have access to legitimate sellers, and this is a way around the Canon MAP policy, I believe. CPW is a reputable source to buy through.

I bought mine through CPW, got it for $3269 and it works great. It has a USA Warranty and works great. They were awesome to work with and very fast to get back to me when I submitted the form on their website. Highly recommended.

I've used cpw several times including my 5D4. I trust them.

One thing I noticed is you can't adjust the continuous shooting speed like my 7D2. Unless they moved and I can't find it. I can't remember if the 5D3 had it.

Correct, I don't think you can. I presume they consider 7fps too low to actually be worth adjusting (besides High and Low). The 5DIII did not have that either.

Just noticed that Lightroom 6 & DPP have problems displaying the lenses serial number. I tried two different lenses (35 1.4 MK I and 85 1.2 MKII) but that doesn't solve the problem. Anyone else noticed that?

Has anybody really used the Dual Pixel RAW feature and/or know where there is a good tutorial on it.

I was amazed to see 14fps on the X-T20... that little camera scoots. I know it's only one shot mode at that speed but would be good for baseball shots.

From every example I've seen, the best tutorial is probably "don't bother". It's a great and innovative idea, but one that - at least in this first generation - doesn't really achieve enough of an effect to make it worth the hassle.

There was talk of using the DP raw feature to increase dynamic range, but that went quiet - so I don't know if it's been picked up again.

Yeah, I suspect we will look back on it as a "beginning technology". I'm tipping that it will developed into a very useful tool.

But right now it's more a side gimmick as a result of it's main function

Appears that, in spite of the hype, it was a good thing that was not the reason I got the camera.

So far, I am extremely pleased. Spring is coming and I'll be heading up into the mountains so we will see.
