I would hope the mk3 would come with a kit 24-105 lens for the same price as the mk4 without a lens even with the other stuff you say come with it for the same price

Yep, with lens and grip but no extra battery or card. Do not need the lens as I have set of lens now.

I had no clue you pre-ordered. Interesting.

I didn't, my new faucets will be here tomorrow. Oh, regarding the 5D4? That will probably be delivered about 1 year from now.

Shoot me over 3 different scenes of low light ISO 12800 raws, and I will see what it is needed, if much of anything. With the new NR algorithm in the 5D4, and probably tweaks to the JPG engine, it is highly possible not much work will be needed until about 25600. We are nearing the point that raw will not be all the useful for the everyday photo, unless you have to tweak exposure perhaps, or messed up the picture style used.

The 7D2 yielded marginal improvements when working with the raw through my processes vs the JPG out of camera. I suspect the 5D4 will be so much better at the JPG result that you could get to the point that you just mess with various picture styles and shoot raw+jpg, but you will probably not need the raw very often.

lol, I am excited for all of you! Can't wait for the initial reports out of POTN! I can only be excited by the new 80+ square feet of granite going into the first floor today. Of course that means when they are gone, I have the work of hooking up gas cooktops, faucets, disposal, etc.

I think I might be entitled to the 5D4 after all this work is performed and paid for.... hmmm.

the shop i preordered from had a hands on night last week (which i wasnt able to make), a wedding tog mate was there and apparently he thinks even 32000 was usable...wasn't sure if it was simply based off what he saw on lcd or processed file didn't chance to talk to him properly but we'll see

I'm in the same boat. dug 150' worth of ditch and installed drain lines this weekend, flooring guy is coming buy today to verify sqft we are getting the living floor redone with the ceramic tile wood looking stuff, also getting the fireplace crown redone and I've been also working on installing radiant barrier in the attics which is a hot mofo right now. We also did two one week vacations this summer and late spring had the pool plaster redone.

I deserve my 5D4!!!
