Yes, it does for me.. my hand holding technique on my non IS 70-200 lens means I get sharper pictures at 1/250 vs 1/200 or 1/160th.

I really doubt that man, with all due respect. It's a different thing when your playing with strobes and/or flash.

Depends if using those strobes/flashes for fill in open daylight or for main light in an otherwise dark exposure

I got a 5D MK III as soon as it hit the local Canon dealer. I will get a 5D MK IV but I will not be one of the first to do so this time. Looking forward to reading from new owners of Mk4 and sample pictures. Should start trickling in soon I hope :-D

See this thread if you have not already, DR is discussed there in detail together with a raw sample from an MK4. DR is dramatically better from what I can gather: https://photography-on-the.net …read.php?t=1466079&page=1

Things I wanted/needed for me to upgrade

Flash sync 1/250 - Sony/Nikon have been doing this for years? Seriously canon?
Better dynamic range. I am awaiting this very much. If the Mark IV doesn't step up their DR, then I believe they will loose a lot of buyers.
Better ISO performance. Again, if the Mark IV doesn't match or come close to Nikon, then bye bye customers.

I am happy with

The new auto focus system.
7 FPS
Duel Pixel RAW. If this is actually useful, then should bring Canon back into the game

Things I couldn't give a stuff about

Touch screen
GPS
Wi-Fi
Video in general
More megapixels

The flash sync thing, when has that 50th of a second ever made a difference in a shoot? Have you ever been like oh man, i could have done with that 50th of a second....

Umm quite often. When your photographing an indoor wedding ceremony with massive backlight. When your using off camera flash at sunset with the bride and groom. At wedding receptions when you want to freeze the action more and there is a lot of ambient light also
