Firstly can I say well done to all you wedding photographers. Does it get easier?

Here is one from the evening photos. Was hoping for a nice sunset but it never came :-(

Well done! Of course it gets easier. The more times you repeat something, the more certainty your have.

Tell us how the day went please!

Another from earlier in the day. Not sure about the sea in this photo if it is distracting or not.

My first wedding was a family wedding so in theory no pressure. But I still wanted to capture their big day and at least get some good photos. The church was the most difficult with the lighting. I was restricted with the lenses I own. I got a spare 6d to go along with my 70d hoping I could push the iso without getting too much noise. I am very dissappointed with the church photos. After checking out the venue prior and attending the practice the night before I struggled with settings. I ended up ferrying guests to the church and this effected my set up time. A photographer wouldnt be involved with things like this but it shows that preparation and timing is essential. After the ceremony things got better with an unusually sunny day for Ireland this summer. The bride and groom didnt want many Posey type photos so a lot of time was spent taking quirky shots. One thing I did notice was some shots that appeared in focus are a bit soft around the subjects. I suppose practice more? I am mainly landscape and motorsport photographer but this was nice to try a wedding. Looking forward to looking at more photos.

This is a nice process. The colors are not overly saturated but the image pops.

First shot needs to have the foreground rocks burned down to draw visual focus to the couple. There is enough color in the sky in the background if you spend a bit more time in processing.
The second shot needs to have fill light and some localized burning and dodging to get the couple right relative to the background.
Nothing wrong with the background, just need to process the image to draw attention to the couple.
