Any reason to stick with Compactflash instead of SDXC in the new Canons?

Just pre-ordered my 5D mark IV and am coming from a 5D Mark III and 7D (backup camera). In the past I never cared about using the SD slots, but I need to buy bigger and better cards now that I will be using the Mark IV.

In a nutshell, can you guys explain what the best options are now for the new Canons? I believe in the past that the SD slot was not equivalent so I never gave it a second thought.

I'm currently looking at the Extreme Pro's by Sandisk and wondering what you guys are using for your setup. I am 95% still photos and rarely use the video function, but want the option there when I need it to record in 4K. I'm a weekend amateur warrior with no specific mission, I just like to shoot!

Thanks in advance!
