Tell me what genre of photography do you have hanging in your living room?

Portraits.

Other art, but it isn't photography....

C&C always welcomed...
On my images, of course, and on my words as well--as long as it's constructive :).

Birds and landscapes.

.
For me it's mammals, birds, and landscapes - 3 of the images include two of those three genres.....I love environmental portraits!

My walls have other art on them, but you only asked about what photos are there, so I will stick to the parameters given and not say anything about the other pieces that I display.

.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

What my wife says hangs there and it ain't any of my stuff :-) I knew there were going to be changes when she moved in and my favourite cinder block stereo stand and velvet posters disappeared in about a week.

Actually I lied. She did put up a 5 by 7 of a shot I took in Como Italy. She does put up shots of places we travel.

We have mostly original paintings and numbered prints on our walls. In our TV room, we have some of my bird photographs and sunsets, along with a couple of our youngest son's photographs of the Caribbean, etc.

That and I have a couple guitars hanging near our fireplace.

My living room mostly has family portraits, not taken by me. My office is where I rotate through my own images. Currently, two bird photos (an historically low count for this genre), one landscape panorama and one other landscape, one travel image, two moon images (one composite of moon phases and one of the September 2015 Blood Moon), one Milky Way image, and two of the Mackinac Bridge.

Very little photographic "art."

Lots of non-photographic art.

Lots of portraits of my friends.
