Fluffy and Droopy

I spent the last there mornings photographing hummingbirds. It's peak time here, in a few weeks most of them will head south. I'm not thrilled with the busy background in this shot and the light was tricky but it made me smile when I saw the pose. More to come.

Cute pose Steve, and nice that some light snuck through for you. Our male hummers have left already, young ones and females will be gone within a week. Two nights ago it went down to 38 degrees F.

"Man, I'm beat!" And he hasn't made the flight yet! Great shot!
