I'm liking Affinity Photo, but it's lack of a Bridge software that allows one to look at thumbnails prior to bringing into Affinity is kind of a pain. I am wondering what others are using to fill the lack of an Adobe Bridge?

Photo Mechanic.

XNViewMP.

Pretty much anything that has support for a configurable "Edit this image in..." type interface.

I'll second photo mechanic. Very fast (the tool used by just about every sports photographer to meet their deadline), easy to use and, if you want to dig in, programmable.

C&C always welcomed...
On my images, of course, and on my words as well--as long as it's constructive :).

If you like Bridge, there is no reason why you can't continue to use it. Just set it up to point to Affinity instead of an Adobe product.

A. It is entirely free, all you need is a free Adobe account.

B. You don't need to have any other Adobe apps installed - it will open the file in any program that supports the format. I have it set to open CR2s in DPP, although I usually choose the Camera Raw option:
