Sep 08, 2016 15:25 | #8 I'm curious... LR and PS don't open the 5D4 CR2's yet, so are you all going to have to use DPP for now? I'm REALLY looking forward to seeing dynamic range abilities, or lack of. My Site - www.apimagery.com

Scrumhalf Cream of the Crop ![]() More info | Sep 08, 2016 16:33 | #10 What I can't understand is why Canon can't get Adobe to work closely with them ahead of time with the right NDAs so that a new LR version is released at the same time as the camera. This kind of stuff happens all the time in the computer industry with drivers, etc. It seems like it would really boost the excitenent among the end users to be able to use their usual programs and generate good data on the camera's performance. Use DPP convert to TIFF and edit in your program of choice. A7rIII | A7III | 12-24 F4 | 16-35 GM | 28-75 2.8 | 100-400 GM | 12mm 2.8 Fisheye | 35mm 2.8 | 85mm 1.8 | 35A | 85A | 200mm L F2 IS | MC-11

Scrumhalf Cream of the Crop ![]() More info | Sep 08, 2016 16:36 | #12 I know I can do that, but I can't understand why a new LR release can't be synchronized with the camera release. It's not like Canon cannot provide Adobe with some CR2 files ahead of time. Sam

I just found out last night that my focal doesn't work because I updated to 2.2 and they are no longer allowing me to upgrade. Yeah, I can understand that Canon may not be able to work with every boutique software company ahead of time, but this is Adobe we are talking about. Sam
