Jul 01, 2017 09:35 | #3187 Keltab wrote in post #18387384 I kept my 7DII, but I find myself shooting more and more with the 5DIV in situations where I used to count on my 7DII. The quality and the "impact" of the images are worth it. I am surprised by how flexible the 5DIV is... I am still on the fence. I shoot a lot of wildlife and reach is important to me. Losing the 1.6 crop factor is a lot. The gain in the iso performance would be a plus.

LJ3Jim Goldmember More info | Jul 01, 2017 11:43 | #3188 Artist Point (near Mount Baker in Washington state) opened for the season yesterday. The workers spend a couple of months digging out the 2.7-mile road and parking area. It generally stays open until October, depending on the snow. Artist Point is known for its great views of Mount Baker and Mount Shuksan and the surrounding valleys. And here's Mt. Shuksan from Artist Point. When more snow melts, you can hike towards the mountain and get a much better photo. At this time of year, though, the swirls that form in the melting snow are interesting. Here's Mount Baker from Artist Point. Mt Baker looks great whenever you're there. This is Mt Baker and the Swift Creek valley. This gives you an idea of how much snow the crews clear to get the area open for visitors. Image editing ok; C&C always welcome.
