Send it in ASAP. I've been in similar situations and they have extended the warranty as a courtesy and on one occasion they prorated the charge based on a hidden 'courtesy' warranty. Did you by chance use a payment method such as a credit card that extends the original warranty?

I have the best buy accidental damage coverage but I'm saving that for catastrophic damage lol, it's getting shipped to Canon tomorrow I called the CPS line she said they usually extend to 13-14 months as needed so that was a relief!

It seems the first batch of 5D4 have that issue of the PC board just failing out of nowhere

I like that very much! What software did you use to stitch it together? Also, did you use something like GigaPan, or did you do it yourself? Really well done!

Image editing ok; C&C always welcome.

Nice pano. I'm starting to experiment with it.

Thank you. I used my Manfrotto tripod with ball head. A little tricky to get it to pan level, and it’s never 100%, but I get close enough to make it work. Then I just have photoshop stitch it for me. And it does a wonderful job.

I will note that when I pan the image, I move it only a third of the screen or less if the image is busy. I make sure that Photoshop has plenty of information for its algorithm to stitch it properly.

Thanks for the info. I will have to keep that in mind. Trying to avoid buying a WA lens and save that for other gear and less to take on trips. I like the look of panos. My first crack at it a few weeks ago and I didn't put much thought into. Lucked out on the cross overs. Hand held with 5D4, 100-400 II and 1.4 III at 560mm
