Sdentrem, I just have to respond to your Golden-crowned Kinglet photo. That shot is one of the finest bird photos I've ever seen. As you say, they are flitty and nervous. This is the best I've ever seen a kinglet - and best photo too. Love the texture in the branch, love the background light. This shot is just perfect.
