It's just become too large and heavy for me to comfortably use (arthritis in one thumb), and a major PIA to travel with.
I probably will be getting an R, maybe waiting to see the next version- but I wouldn't want it if it's any bigger and heavier. Seriously considering an M50 ( or next version) as well for travel/ everyday walkaround.
I can't leave the full-frame family completely though, and definitely sticking with Canon.
Keeping my 300 f/4 for the time being, and will be posting my RRS L bracket today.
