Not precisely sure what kind of insect this is, but I found a few of them on a bush in my yard this morning. Probably some kind of invasive species of insect..

Anyhow, it was colorful, and thought it made for an interesting macro shot!

If anyone has an insight to as what exactly it is, I would be interested to know!

Canon 5D IV - 100mm f/2.8 L IS Macro with the Raynox DCR-250 conversion adapter.

Visited my wife's cousin a couple of weeks ago, perfect timing for a new arrival.

First one is about a minute old, second pic is of my monsters finding lamb bed making very amusing, and the third the new born on its feet and looking clean (mostly) after about an hour... impressive I thought!

Slipped on ice while out on my daily photo walk and broke my right wrist, not long after breaking my left wrist. Grrrr... I thought I'd post one of the last pics I took and in the meantime keep an eye on the fine work you people are producing. Won't be holding the 5D IV, 100-400 and 1.4 extender for a while, I'm afraid. Keep up the good work!

I've been inside a number of these old airplanes. They are extremely hard to photograph. Your capture is excellent. Thanks for the post.
