I love the 11-24!

In my top 3 of all the lenses I own. Along with the 24-70 f/2.8 and 600 mm f/4.

Pelicans just kill me. They don't so much dive as sort of fall and crash. They seem to start off ok and and then when they hit the water their form sort of comes unglued.

These are 2 very nice scenes.
The top one is such a contrast with the warmth glow of the ferrous colours and the stark cold.
Lower one shows the beauty of winter in its stark reality.
Beautifully photographed.

The moon is always a challenge to photograph. Even if it's the super snow moon like it is tonight. So I always try to include some foreground or silhouette to give it some context.

This photo was rushed so the quality isn't where I want it, but you can't always nail a photo perfectly every time. Nonetheless, here it is. Tonight's super snow moon.

Is that cactus intentionally giving me the bird?

Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.

Wow...that is a really cool shot, James. You get an A+ for creative thinking with this photo. I must say though...the cactus plant appears to be making an unfriendly gesture. :p
