This was pretty spectacular....even for me.

I've seen Great Blues and Anhingas square off before....I guess they just don't get on very well. Usually they do the stare down, get all fluffed up, make noises.....that's about it.

But today I got to record David and Goliath.

Here they squared off...the Blue poofing all up....the Anhinga, flipping his neck around and squawking. Next thing I know the Anhinga leaps right into the Blue's face and I could tell the Blue was not at all expecting it. He did all he could to get out of the line of attack and backing down was not remotely in the Anhinga's plans.
UH Mazin series!

Even as the Blue started to move away the Anhinga jumped up at the Blue again and fell backward into the water. That gave the Blue his chance to put a little distance between himself and the Anhinga.

Pretty exciting few seconds it was.

Very nice. If that had been off a 5DS, the center would make a nice verticle crop too. Although, I think even the file from your 5D mk iv would offer the same option for something like 18 x 20. The composition offers like 2 or 3 options to frame.

On a totally different note, this video I found yesterday reminded me of the focus discussion at the EOS R thread. But this is the Zeiss 135mm vs. Sigma 135mm. It's remarkable how he was able to focus more consistently manually on the one person's face using the Zeiss.

Seeing this is the 5D mk iv forum, thought this was worth interjecting. I'm pricing the Zeiss lens today as a possible option. I want a 135mm, but it would be used less, and it may be the slot to fill with a Zeiss.
