Nice, clean shots. Thought you were shooting birds exclusively with the 90D. Any reasons for switching to 5D IV?

Love these. The first could be your Christmas card (if you do such things) and the drop of water on the duck's head is a winner. Really like the perspective on the duck one as well. Did you blur it in post or did you get that bokeh with f/5? Just lovely.

Thank you - I have a client looking for this years motiv for an Xmas card, I've been thinking the same! No added blur, I'm pretty low to the water infact I think the lens hood dipped in the water a little!! By being so low I can increase the seperation between subject and background to give more depth!

Thank you, sun had gone down - 5D Mark IV images are much cleaner in difficult lighting even though my iso was not so high - Also because the subjects were much closer!

Fish Creek.

Drive beyond Canyon Lake and Tortilla Flats. The road becomes unpaved. Keep driving. You’ll see it.

Union Pacific's Big Boy No. 4014 Locomotive Concludes 150th Anniversary Celebration with 'Great Race Across the Southwest'
The world's largest steam locomotive, Union Pacific's Big Boy No. 4014, will embark on a third and final tour celebrating the 150th anniversary of the transcontinental railroad's completion, giving rail fans across the Southwest an opportunity to experience history.

"Weighing in at 1.2 million pounds, the Big Boy makes a big impression in communities it visits, reminding us of bygone days and the important role the railroad continues to play in our global economy,"

Twenty-five Big Boys were built exclusively for Union Pacific, the first of which was delivered in 1941 to handle the steep terrain between Cheyenne and Ogden. Of the eight still in existence, No. 4014 is the world's only operating Big Boy. In May, it completed its inaugural tour to Ogden for Union Pacific's 150th anniversary ceremony. The Big Boy and historic steam locomotive Living Legend No. 844 met nose-to-nose, recreating the iconic image taken May 10, 1869, when the last spike was tapped into place at Promontory Summit, creating America's first transcontinental railroad.
