Sorry if you took this personally Levina, it was not my intention. I was just making the point that people these days expect perfection for free. I too love this forum and since joining many years ago have learnt a lot and now take some ok shots from the advice many good people have given.

It's all good, Shorty. Thank you for clearing that up.

Warning: After one month of solid use, couple weddings, family sessions and other events the camera has died on me... won't power on at all!

I had been taking a couple shots on my vacation when randomly it was powered off in between shots. Tried multiple fresh batteries and took it to a certified CPS retailer who deemed it dead. Worst of it all, i'm still stuck in Scotland for two more weeks and US warranties don't work in the UK. FML...

*Great camera though, love the high ISO, DR and Wi-Fi connection... AF also rocks!

Following up on this issue I had posted earlier. Sent the 5D4 into CPS last week and just got it back. Turned out to be a bad circuit board...

CPS: "Your product has been examined and it was found that the circuit board did not operate properly so that the power supply did not operate properly. The bottom circuit board was replaced. Product functions were confirmed."

I had another reader of the forum contact me having this same issue. So, just a forewarning if this happens to you...

I've had a few situations where the wakeup takes too long when you half press the shutter it won't immediately wake up. Takes like 4-5 seconds long enough you mash the button a few times nothing and then you look at it and then it comes on.

Odd, I haven't seen or heard of that happening before.

I glanced at this shot, and was thinking, "this forum member has a dog that looks a lot like a thylacine?"

Yeah, good call! A while after I posted I realised that most wouldn't recognise that this was an extinct Marsupial (humans are stupid) - hence the edit :D

Very sad that the people of this country allowed that creature to be killed off. There are some who still harbour belief that some still survive deep in the wild of Tasmania but I don't think anything concrete has surfaced in decades

Hello! Well, I just joined the 5DMarkIV club! It was delivered just a bit ago and I look forward to trying it out tomorrow. I'll post a pic once I have one, but with rain and snow tomorrow it may not be a cool bird ;-)a

I have learned a lot reading this thread and I hope to post to it and see what I can learn!

Sorry - couldn't wait to show my excitement!
