Looking forward to the weekend so I get to grips with the new camera more, I've just been playing around with it indoors in poor light so far. Not to the level of shots in here, but for the Tamron 150-600 and ISO4000 I didn't think it was too bad? About a 50% crop shot out the window.

Now I know these aren't great, but for a lunchtime walk from my house to the canal I have never seen so much! The lens is a Tamron 150-600 and I am not a wildlife or BIF shooter so I was all over the place with exposure and should have definitely used a higher shutter speed. On the camera screen I thought things didn't look too bad but on the PC it was a different matter! :-D :cry:

I went into Cades Cove this morning just after sunrise and the wildlife was very active, I was able to capture 2 bucks fighting

I didnt realize Canon changed the tether cable from the mkIII. Just went to a shoot and got all excited to use my camera and couldnt because i ddint have the right cable. What cable is everyone using to tether?

I like it because it is the same as my 7D2's. When I buy a new camera I don't open anything I don't need like the neck strap, manual, etc. I only use it to do MFA with FoCal but I may try tethered shooting to my laptop one day.
