Look at how beautifully an evenly exposed the dogs are. I love snow! Wild Birds of Europe

I do overexpose by one stop generally, as the camera sees all that whiteness and tries to darken everything to midtone gray. With gray skies, it also requires a bit of white balance tweaking and exposure adjustment in Lightroom. Glad you like them!
