Love the hummer-with-flower shots! Zero for me this year. Do you put out feeders, too? Have often thought about skipping them for one year.

Rog, I haven't skipped a year since 2007. I have taken more hummer photos in the past than this year because of a new interest in night herons, glossy ibis and skimmers.

I put a feeder out 2nd week of April and it stays up till mid October. When I am photographing hummers the feeder comes down.

Skipping them, I don't think I could.
