And the card could be used to copy settings to a second camera if need be.

Which is one of the benefits they push for this functionality in the 1D-series cameras, where it has been available for quite some time.

Since you didn't quote, i'm not exactly sure which thing you're talking about in the 1D... please clarify?

I never quote when I refer to the post immediately above mine.

thanks - actually I have never known that was a feature in the Canon EOS-1D X! I've talked to Canon reps before about saving settings and nobody's ever told me it was there! I thought it was something new

so I learned something!

It has been a feature of the 1D-series for quite a while.

Talley, thanks for the video, and displaying the BBF customization! Totally awesome feature that I am now employing.

Just saw this video. Thanks, Talley. Now I want a 5D4. YOU OWE ME! :)

Really, I thought my 1D4 was customizable. The 5D4 takes the cake. I guess I better not look at a 1DX2.

It's futile to resist. Best to give in asap.

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

Hi Tally - Nice work. Very good. Clearest I've seen.

I've not gone for the 5DIV yet but considering it. I am tempted to wait till we get a decision from Canon on a future 7DIII. There seems to be few rumours around.

I often need screen shots of the cameras menu screens - can you enlighten me on how you do it so professionally? And what capture software you use?

Thanks again

Regards

Ray

Well after the 3rd attempt I finally managed to get it done. Disclaimer: It's late... I've been up since 4am so I'm tired so excuse any slurring or just any speech errors on my part.... BUT.. good info in there. I particularly like the part at 14:25... REALLY good stuff there. Hope this helps anyone that does not have the camera and wants to know.
