When i get it, i'll be usig it ONLY for jpegs... lshoot raw with my 1dx and 5dIII...

Why limit yourself to jpeg? Makes no sense to me.

if there's not support for RAW yet, then shoot jpeg until there is support. Also, whats doesnt make sense about shoting jpeg? When i'm on vacation and messing around i never shoot RAW.... vacations, having fun, parties are all JPEGS.... i don't want to sit there and edit "fun" photos that i'm not being paid to edit.

Vacation Photos all JPEG

Fun Photos (All jpeg)

Shooting EVERYTHING in Raw doesn't make sense to me! When i'm at a business client, shootig or brands etc, ONLY raw.... but fun.. ONLY JPEG.

David, How do you like the touchscreen on the M5? I just received the a6500 and the touchscreen is crap. No pinch/zoom when reviewing photos. No swiping through photos. No navigation through menu. Basically only useful for moving AF point around. Having never used a touchscreen for that I really don't trust that I won't move it inadvertently between shots. I've flat out turned it off for now. Pretty disappointing. Was supposed to have been one of the new great features of the a6500.

My bad! I've been loosely following this thread and based on the last couple post thought you might have already got your hands on one. Well, nonetheless, just looking at some review vids of the M5 the touchscreen looks much better than that of the a6500. In reality, I'm not so sure how comfy I would be using it for still photography. Prolly best using it with video. I would love it to work well for reviewing photos though....and that ins't available on the a6500. :-(

Sorry for sidetracking the thread. ;-)a

It's OK. Better than reading the whining about current lack of RAW supporters n Lightroom.
