idsurfer Cream of the Crop More info | Dec 03, 2016 09:43 | #293 David, How do you like the touchscreen on the M5? I just received the a6500 and the touchscreen is crap. No pinch/zoom when reviewing photos. No swiping through photos. No navigation through menu. Basically only useful for moving AF point around. Having never used a touchscreen for that I really don't trust that I won't move it inadvertently between shots. I've flat out turned it off for now. Pretty disappointing. Was supposed to have been one of the new great features of the a6500. Cory

idsurfer Cream of the Crop More info | Dec 03, 2016 09:58 | #295 My bad! I've been loosely following this thread and based on the last couple post thought you might have already got your hands on one. Well, nonetheless, just looking at some review vids of the M5 the touchscreen looks much better than that of the a6500. In reality, I'm not so sure how comfy I would be using it for still photography. Prolly best using it with video. I would love it to work well for reviewing photos though....and that ins't available on the a6500. Cory
