I think he means they'll be cheaper next year...

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

its still releasing on the 8th, but it will get to me on the 12th. Mulling over upgrading it to next day shipping so the weekend doesn't make 2-day shipping take 4 days.

Made few shots today in store. Low battery level and cant play more with camera. RAW just converted to JPEG and resized. Seems noise is OK for ISO 4000.

Do you actually use DPP? I would bet that the majority of canon people use Adobe to process their images.

If camera manufacturers went with standard DNG life would be a lot simpler all round. If they want to entice people into their software they still have all this dual pixel rubbish they can keep all to themselves. And that will be a failure anyway as a. DPP will still be rubbish and b. anyone who knows how to take a photo doesn't need to try and focus after the event.

I could see the post focus thing being great for if, and only if, some slight thing happens and knocks the image out of focus, your model breathes or something at just the wrong moment to give you that slight nudge to have a perfectly sharp image..

with the increasingly higher resolution of sensors slight mistakes are amplified...

You bet. I am really anxious to see how well it works with my sigma 18-35mm f/1.8.
