Help: CS6 Uneven Brushstroke

Hi all,

i7 PC with Windows 10 installed, CS6. Wacom Intuos Pro Meduim, latest drivers etc

Hoping someone can assist with what I identify as a problem I am having with the brush tool: see image below.

When I select brush, dodge/burn etc the stroke is a series of overlapping circles rather than a clean stroke. This is causing me issues, when tracing and edge and other activities such as filling in areas with a soft brush. As can be seen with the soft brush stroke, the overlayed circles are causing unevenness.

Is there a setting I am missing to rectify this perceived problem?

Check the brush settings (folder next to the brush in the upper toolbar) and make sure you don't have brush dynamics or scattering selected.

I just double checked in Ps, it's likely that you have your brush tip shape spacing set at the default. Setting down to 1 should solve that issue.

I have now made the new brushes and repositioned them using the Open Preset Manager.
