Pair of Northern Shoveler ducks. They use those big bills to stir up the mud and see what comes up.

Tasmanian Native Hens in our yard. These are the feral ones but they're getting a bit bold!

Yes. To me the egret chicks are the link to dinosaurs.

Here are the ones that get uglier as they mature.

A difference in eye color occurs in several duck species. Probably stands out a little more in this image since their heads are close together.
