I hear what you are saying, sogs. I for example, want to see cardinals. It seems like so many here on the forums are posting gorgeous shots of these red beauties. I on the other hand see wood ducks on a regular basis, whereas other folks here never get to see these beautiful ducks.

I waited patiently for the owl to open it's eyes and was kind of hoping they would open to check out the woodpecker.
I did not end up getting an 'open eye' photo but it was interesting to see this woodpecker and a few other birds interact with the owl while it was sleeping the morning away.
