Aww OK. But hey have a really good prison there in Tasmania. It's called Port Arthur. Even has a cool (and dark) solitary confinement cell!

I certainly sounds like a nice place to visit.

Terrific capture, Dennis! These two Regent Bower birds set up nicely for you. The male is amazingly beautiful!

These are really two very nice shots, Richard. However, you have 3 Spur-winged lapwings in your first photo. The Canon Digital Photography Forums (Birds in Pairs) law only allows you to have two birds in a given photo. Series fines and other stiff penalties can result when these written in stone laws are broken. I felt it my duty to inform you of this serious infraction.:-P;-)a :p:lol:

Wow. What have I done :-(
Looks like I'm really in the pooh!!
Port Arthur would be a bit rugged at moment.
No roof windows or floor - sounds a bit harsh :-P

I repent Mike :-P
And will ensure I try in future to only post true pairs.
For now these will pass muster :-P

Tasmanian Native Hen and chick

Having a little off the beaten path fun on these forums every now and then is a hoot, Richard. Sorry you ended up the one being picked on:-P, but I'm sure my turn will come around soon enough. And lets not forget that Pippan was throwing a little gas on the fire too.

I really like these two shots of the parent birds, and their cute little young'uns. I can't honestly say why, but I especially like the little black ball of fuzz (Tasmanian Native chick)!

Thanks Mike :-) There is something about those baby hens. They come with much "character".
Yes very good banter :-P

I can't look at a shot like this without smiling, Richard! You certainly captured these two beautifully. It looks like both of them got together purposely, just for you to take a photo these two pals. ;-)a
