I was photographing butterflies earlier this week & just looked up in time to catch these Monk Parakeets as they skimmed me.

I guess it's actually a pair & a half. :)

According to one other birder that was there, this is a ritual dance of some sort. There were a few that did it during the hour that I was taking shots.
